Learning difficulties

Every teacher experiences the above mentioned problem in his class.If not
so,there are such action plans like Action Research,Remedial teaching
etc.Let us know what is learning disability?
It is a situation or disability in which learner can't learn easily or
looses his mind catch what we intend to teach.As I experienced in my class
of 5,some learnin disabilities(LDs) r as follows:
1.Not reading languages properly
2.Some of student not know basic mathematic operations and multiplication
tables
3.Writing skills
These are very severe LDs that I worried lot about.I went through these and
I listed the following reasons.
1.Pupils dont know the language parts and grammar
2.They dont know basic maths operations
3.Lot of writing skills not taught
4.Teacher's way of teaching or student's irregularity may be the reason.
By all knowing this I'm now thinking to do action research.Still i'm
thinking that is there another way than AR, to make my pupils to outcome
this LDs?If you have any, share with me..

VOTING AWARENESS MARCH

The day was very sunny,so hot that one cannot tolerate,but the lovely
students were present before we reach the school.HM and we teachers
arranged for mock voting.Some students helped us to make model voting
machine as well as a polling booth.I made one of the student as a presiding
officer and other 3 as polling officers.Mr.Goneppa sir made rest of
students as voters.Mr Manjunath sir took the responsiblity of Awareness
march.As usual our HM made official preparation for mock voting.By 10.30am
before going to start a mock voting,voting pledge was made with
Villagers,studends.Then mock voting started and every pupil enjoyed his/her
voting.Pupils and villagers are made clear to cast their vote to a right
person to empower our Democracy.
After 3pm sun storm was least and we marched in a streets of village to
make villagers to clear and importance of voting.Being in this jatha made
us happy and an interaction with villagers was so good.Last but not least
we thank dept for such programme.

Tending to Change

Govt HPS Kodachi was so contracted village and no stream of education was
passing through til 2002.When I stepped in 2007 the students were in their
common dress,cleanliness was completely nill.They seemed very voracious
about dress,mid day meal and the books which they freely get.The 1st
challenge before us was to make them clean.Second was to make them to stay
in class regularly.Nothing was happened suddenly but I honestly tried to
convince their parents and partially succeded.My another collegue Sanganna
also joined me.Rest of teachers encouraged to organise various programmes
to sprinkle the importance of education among the parents and villagers.We
havent changed anything than our strategy.Now the villagers loving us by
saying that "school developed lot after you all came".
We teachers enjoy this bliss in a solitude..

School with Community pleased...

On 6th April 2013,In our school there was a programme named Samudaya Datta shale.Sri Bhimanna Ghanate was instructor presided the function.He called upon the parents and SDMC.Discussed children's progress.All teachers were present and made function happy.

ಸ್ವಾಭಿಮಾನಿ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ 122ನೇ ಜಯಂತಿ..

ದಿ.14.04.2013ರಂದು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 9.30ಕ್ಕೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹಿರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆ ಕೊಡಚಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ: ಬಿ.ಆರ್.ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ 122ನೇ ಜನ್ಮ ದಿನೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ ಅವರ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂಜೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಅವರ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ.ಎಸ್.ಜೆ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಬಳಿಕ ಚಾಕೋಲೇಟ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮಂಗಲ ಹಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.

ಗೋಡೆ ಮುತ್ತುಗಳು...

ಶಾಲಾ ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವ ನುಡಿಮುತ್ತುಗಳು, ಹಿತೋಕ್ತಿಗಳು, ಮಹಾನುಭಾವರ ಸಂದೇಶಗಳು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ನೈತಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೌಲ್ವಿಕ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಪರೋಕ್ಷವಾಗಿ ಕಾರಣವಾಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಅಂತಹ ಹಲವಾರು ನುಡಿಮುತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲಾ ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಕು.ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ಎಸ್.ಜೆ ಅವರು ಸ್ವತಃ ಬರೆದು ಶಾಲಾ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಸಿಂಗರಿಸಿದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿ ಈ ಫೋಟೋಗಳು..
